1. Acceptance of these terms

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and Technodweep (“Technodweep,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), the maker of DynamoDweep. They apply when you access dynamodweep.com, download or use a DynamoDweep desktop application, or use a related service we provide.

By doing so, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you use DynamoDweep for an organisation, you confirm that you have authority to accept these Terms for that organisation. If you do not agree, do not use the website or product.

You must be legally able to enter into a binding agreement and must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority where you live.

2. Product scope and licences

Community edition

DynamoDweep Community source code and covered binaries are made available under the Apache License 2.0. That licence controls your right to use, copy, modify, and distribute the open-source software. If these Terms conflict with the Apache License regarding rights granted under that licence, the Apache License controls for that software.

Pro edition and related services

DynamoDweep Pro, early-access builds, commercial features, support, and other services may be subject to an order, licence key, subscription, quote, or separate written agreement. We grant only the rights expressly stated in the applicable offer or agreement. Unless we say otherwise in writing, Pro is licensed, not sold, and may not be shared, resold, sublicensed, or used to bypass licence or access controls.

Website

We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive right to access the website for lawful evaluation, documentation, support, and product use. You may not disrupt the website, probe it without permission, scrape it in a way that causes unreasonable load, or falsely represent an affiliation with Technodweep.

3. Your responsibilities and acceptable use

You are responsible for your use of DynamoDweep and for every operation you authorise through it. You agree to:

• connect only to accounts, databases, repositories, systems, and data you are authorised to access;
• comply with applicable law, contracts, security policies, and third-party terms;
• review queries, edits, schema changes, imports, bulk actions, restores, and deletions before executing them;
• maintain appropriate backups, change controls, and recovery procedures;
• use least-privilege access and protect credentials, devices, exports, generated code, and local app files; and
• avoid using the product to harm systems, evade access controls, distribute malware, infringe rights, or process unlawful content.

You are also responsible for AWS charges and any fees charged by LocalStack, an AI provider, a network operator, or another service used with DynamoDweep.

4. Credentials, local files, and customer data

You retain ownership of the database content, repository content, queries, exports, prompts, and other material you use with DynamoDweep (“Your Data”). You give us no ownership of Your Data by using the desktop app.

The app connects from your computer to endpoints you select. It may store working data locally. Community currently stores static access-key connection data in a local connections.json file without encryption; Pro stores access-key secrets and session tokens in your operating system’s credential store. You accept responsibility for choosing a suitable edition and credential method, protecting local files, and removing access when it is no longer needed.

Technodweep is not responsible for unauthorised access caused by exposed credentials, insecure device settings, overly broad IAM permissions, a compromised third-party service, or your failure to follow appropriate security practices.

5. Optional AI-assisted features

Some Pro workflows can use a provider or command-line agent you choose to analyse repository excerpts, refine a model, or plan a query. AI output can be incomplete, inaccurate, insecure, or unsuitable for your environment. You must review it before relying on it or running a generated request.

• Do not submit content you are not authorised to share with the selected provider.
• Review repository scope, prompts, model context, provider settings, and applicable provider terms.
• Do not treat generated output as legal, compliance, security, financial, or other professional advice.
• Use the local “No AI” heuristic when you do not want repository excerpts sent to an AI provider.

Technodweep does not control third-party AI models, availability, output, retention, or policy changes and is not liable for decisions you make based on their output.

6. Pro access, pricing, and payments

Pro is currently described as early access ahead of public paid launch. Any Pro access we provide may be time-limited, feature-limited, changed, or ended as stated in the applicable invitation or agreement.

When paid plans become available, prices, currency, taxes, billing periods, renewal, cancellation, and refund rules will be presented at purchase or in a separate order. You authorise the applicable payment processor to charge the payment method you provide. Except where law or the applicable offer requires otherwise, fees already earned are non-refundable.

7. Third-party services and links

DynamoDweep works with or links to services we do not control, including AWS, DynamoDB Local, LocalStack, GitHub, operating-system credential stores, package ecosystems, and optional AI providers. Your use of them is governed by their own terms. Their names and marks belong to their respective owners.

We are not affiliated with or endorsed by Amazon Web Services. A link or integration does not mean Technodweep endorses or guarantees a third-party product.

8. Ownership, trademarks, and feedback

Except for open-source components and Your Data, Technodweep and its licensors retain all rights in DynamoDweep, the website, designs, documentation, branding, and commercial features. “DynamoDweep” and associated logos are Technodweep branding. These Terms do not grant permission to use our branding in a way that suggests sponsorship or endorsement.

If you voluntarily send feedback or suggestions, you permit us to use them without restriction or payment, provided we do not identify you publicly without permission. Contributions to an open-source repository remain subject to that repository’s licence and contribution process.

9. Updates, changes, and availability

We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue website content, downloads, compatibility, Pro features, early-access functionality, or support. We may release updates that fix security or reliability issues, and you are responsible for using a version appropriate for your environment.

We do not promise that DynamoDweep will always be available, error-free, compatible with every AWS or operating-system change, or suitable for every workload. Preview and early-access features may be incomplete and may change without notice.

10. Warranty disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the website, Community edition, Pro early access, documentation, downloads, generated output, and related services are provided “as is” and “as available.” Technodweep disclaims all express, implied, and statutory warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, and security.

We do not warrant that a query, edit, import, export, schema action, backup, restore, generated snippet, infrastructure template, repository analysis, or AI-planned request will be correct, reversible, or free from data loss. Test important workflows and keep independent backups.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Technodweep and its owners, personnel, affiliates, and licensors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive, or consequential damages; loss or corruption of data; loss of revenue, profits, goodwill, or business opportunity; cloud or provider charges; or business interruption arising from or related to DynamoDweep.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability for all claims relating to paid Pro access or services will not exceed the amount you paid to Technodweep for the applicable product or service during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. For free use, our total aggregate liability will not exceed the greater of the minimum liability required by law or USD 50.

These limits apply regardless of the theory of liability and even if a remedy fails of its essential purpose. They do not limit liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

12. Suspension and termination

You may stop using DynamoDweep at any time. We may suspend or terminate access to our website, Pro, early access, licences, or related services if you materially breach these Terms, create security or legal risk, fail to pay an amount due, or misuse the product. Where reasonable, we will provide notice and an opportunity to cure.

Termination does not revoke rights already granted under the Apache License for Community code. Pro licence rights end as stated in the applicable commercial agreement. Sections that by their nature should survive—including ownership, disclaimers, liability, and general terms—continue after termination.

13. General terms

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect product, business, or legal changes. We will publish the revised Terms and update the “Last updated” date. Material changes apply prospectively, and continued use after they take effect constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.

Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable at Technodweep’s principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts with jurisdiction over that location will have exclusive jurisdiction, unless mandatory consumer law requires another forum. Before filing a claim, each party agrees to make a reasonable effort to resolve the dispute informally.

Export and sanctions compliance

You may not use or export DynamoDweep in violation of applicable export-control or sanctions laws.

Entire agreement and severability

These Terms, the Privacy Policy, the applicable software licence, and any separate order or written agreement form the agreement for your use of DynamoDweep. If a provision is unenforceable, it will be limited as necessary and the remaining provisions will continue. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign a commercial agreement without our consent; we may assign it as part of a reorganisation or transfer of the product.
